Every action on this page earns exactly the XP stated, every time. There's no hidden scoring or variable formula behind the scenes.
Streaks reset honestly
Miss a full day and the streak resets to 1 on screen the moment it's due: no grace periods or streak-freeze items to buy or track.
Badges are only ever real
A badge only appears once it's genuinely been earned. The badges screen never shows a locked or placeholder achievement to chase.
Rank moves forward, and only forward
Rank is calculated purely from total XP. There's no separate scoring formula, and it can never drop back down once reached.
Streaks are strict, on purpose
Completing a Practice Bank, Vocabulary, Times Tables, Homework or Quick Test session today keeps the streak going if one was also completed yesterday (or this is the very first day). Miss a full calendar day with nothing in between, and the streak resets to 1, shown honestly on screen the moment it's due, not delayed until the next session.
There's no streak-freeze item, pause button or grace day to manage. A streak simply reflects whether a session happened today or yesterday. The longest streak ever reached is also tracked separately, so a reset never erases that record.
Six ways to earn XP, every one of them fixed
These are the exact amounts awarded across the app today: the same numbers whether it's Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning or Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Practice Bank session
Plus 5 XP for every question answered correctly along the way.
Vocabulary session
Plus 5 XP per correct answer, and a one-off 30 XP bonus the first time a word is fully mastered.
Times Tables practice
Plus 5 XP per correct answer, and a one-off 30 XP bonus the first time a times-table fact is mastered, the same shape as My Time Challenge and Test All, each worth 20 XP on completion.
Homework assignment
The default for a completed assignment. A tutor can set a different amount for a specific piece of homework.
Quick Test
Plus 5 XP for every correct answer, so a stronger score earns more on top of the flat completion amount.

Tiered by how exam-ready the score shows the student to be: see the exact bands below.
